Dr. Solish graduated as a dermatologist from the University of Toronto and subsequently specialized in surgical dermatology at the University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia. He is a recognized specialist in the fields of cosmetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery. He is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Toronto, and President of the Canadian Society for Dermatologic Surgery In addition to being the Director of the Cosmetic Dermatology at Espada, Solish is co-director of the Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer Clinic and the Laser Surgery Unit at Women's College Hospital, and the director of Dermatologic Surgery at the University of Toronto.
He has also published in peer-reviewed journals, and he lectures regularly on dermatologic surgery techniques at local, national, and international medical meetings.
On February 10, Solish will join fellow IHHS board members Pariser, Glaser and Hebert in the first-ever forum on hyperhidrosis at the 62nd annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology, in Washington, D.C. Also at that conference on February 9, Solish will direct a separate focus session on treatment of hyperhidrosis.

The International Hyperhidrosis Society (IHHS) is a non-profit organization promoting the awareness of and research into the condition of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). Through their advocacy and programming, IHHS provides sufferers with access to treatment, and educates physicians about hyperhidrosis.
